You may have heard the rumours: the Twitter 140 characters limit will soon become history. Seems scary, right? Well it is not nearly as tragic it seems, it actually great news! Let’s understand what this means. According to Twitter, these changes will allow for richer public conversations that are easier to follow on, and ensure that people can attach extra elements, such as media and external links to their tweets, without sacrificing the characters we have to type things. So there will be 140 for your words, plus extra space for @names, links, pictures and GIFs. The future is here!
